Support local (Hawai'i) farmers and their cooperative in strengthening the local food supply. This project will reduce emissions (>100t/year) by replacing grid
power with solar energy and reduce the cooperative's operating costs making local food more competitive.

This project will install a photo-voltaic system on the processing facility of the Hawai'i 'Ulu (breadfruit) Cooperative. Your contribution will be used to partially fund the installation of the system which will allow the cooperative to dedicate over $4,500 in monthly energy cost savings towards other causes i.e. reduce price, increase salaries. The Cooperative formed in 2016 as a network of small-scale, diversified farms that grow breadfruit and want to improve community access to this amazing, nutritious food. By selecting this project with your offset you support Hawai'i's food security and the local economy.
